CHECHE LAZARO TACKLES LOVE, LIVES AND STRUGGLES OF HOMOSEXUALS IN A TWO-HOUR DOCUMENTARY

In celebration of the internationally observed “National Coming Out Day” this October, “Cheche Lazaro Presents” takes a deeper look into the world of lesbians, gays, transgender and bisexuals (LGBT) and their struggle for acceptance this Sunday.

Veteran broadcast journalist Cheche Lazaro tackles homosexuality and its forms in a two-hour documentary that weaves the points of view of people with same-sex attraction, their families, and the sectors that either support or reject them.

Joining are experts from various fields – a psychologist, geneticist, sex realignment doctor, human rights activist and priests. They all provide the context to a comprehensive and poignant story of a societal taboo in the midst of our changing times.

“Cheche Lazaro Presents” airs this Sunday (October 13), after “Gandang Gabi Vice” on ABS-CBN’s Sunday’s Best.

Coming out day is an international event which gives LGBT people the opportunity to ´come out´ to others about their sexuality. It also raises awareness of the LGBT community and LGBT rights movement.
