Basketball player turned model and actor Marx Pangan Topacio a.k.a Marx Topacio who used to play for the San Sebastian College Recoletos (SSC-R) de Cavite Baycats is from Kawit Cavite. While in college, Marx did part time modelling and eventually became professional fashion and commerical model after college. He has appeared in a Greenwich tv commercial and has walked the ramp for Bench and other brands and names in the fashion industry. His unique look and masculine appeal emphasized by his tanned skin and shaved head landed him a place in Cosmopolitan Magazine’s 69 Most Eligible Bachelors.
Currently, Marx Topacio is one of the supporting cast of ABS-CBN's TV series "Maria Mercedes."
